This year we're delighted to welcome Anne and Terry Symens-Bucher to facilitate our Summer School. Anne and Terry are Franciscans and the founders of Canticle Farm Community in Oakland, California where they are engaged in many of the practices they will bring to their time with us at this workshop, as well as racial healing through addressing systemic racism and white privilege. They are deeply influenced by the work of Joanna Macey and in particular her Work That Reconnects. A movement to a life sustaining society that she calls "the essential adventure of our time." The video below is an introductory documentary on Macey's work.
