Catherine Keenan, trainer of CPE students in the John of God Centre Stillorgan asked us to run Soul Scripts. We had to divide the process into two separate afternoons. The level of participation was excellent but we know it would be better in future to try to negotiate for a whole day.

A two day summer school on the Gospel of Luke following the approach of Carlos Mesters led by Tom McGrath. Tom works in Brazil in biblical grassroots animation, using the approach of Carlos Mesters mainly with the socially excluded classes of towns and cities. Topics which will be touched on wlll be:
- Exchanging ideas about how each of us read the Bible.
- Jesus: His life and times, something of the history and geography of Palestine, as opposed to how our society works today.
- The options made by Jesus - his place in the social pyramid of the time, where he got all his wisdom from, and why he did what he did.

Dr. Patricia O’Connell Killen led two days in July in Kimmage on the Art of Theological Reflection. This was Patricia's second visit to Ireland at the invitation of Partners in Faith and was very well attended. At least four local groups have adopted the techniques introduced in the workshop and are meeting monthly to do theological reflection. The process is highly respectful of our everyday experiences as the place where God speaks and invites us to link our experience with the Tradition, trusting our own wisdom.

Monica O’Reilly from the Edmund Rice/Vincent de Paul group in Monkstown invited us to run five Jesus’ Story Our story sessions in Dunardagh with about 20 people from the Monkstown/ Mounttown area.
