Partners in Faith are holding a series of Adult Faith conversations over four Tuesday evenings from Tuesday 16th October to Tuesday 9th November from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Sophia Wisdom Centre, 25 Cork Street. These gatherings will include listening, reflecting and sharing with each other through the writings of the mystics the power and presence of our individual journeys. Jonathan and Deirdre from the Partners team will guide the sessions.
The prophet tries to pierce the numbness of the present;
the ascetic tries to find the next step forward;
and the mystic names the holy ground on which we can stand now and in the future.
In this years Summer School we will look at each of these through the eyes of models, biblical and historical, but most especially, through the teachings of the medieval women mystics with Mary T. Malone as our guide.
On Holy Thursday the Omagh-Waterford Peace Choir joined Partners in Faith and the communityin Sean McDermott Street parish to celebrate the Holy Thursday liturgy. This was the first such joint venture by Partners in Faith with the Peace Choir and the Sean McDermott Street parish and it was a wonderfully moving celebration. Below is short video showing highlights of the event.
